Senior Accountant

Senior Accountant will work as part of Parallels APAC Finance team based in Singapore.

Responsibilities:
  • Financial analysis and reporting for China and Japan entities.
  • Performing key role in month-end financial closing of China and Japan entities.

Account Director, APAC

The Account Director will be an over-achiever in Vertical Sales with a strong focus and presence within the Telecom / Hosting / Service Providers verticals. This person will have excellent communication skills and a consistent track record of exceeding quota. This position will be located in Singapore and cover the sales territory of South Asia, Southeast Asia, Greater China.

Role Purpose

The main objective of this position is to grow the business of Parallels in Asia with telecom and service providers customers and to increase Parallels market share in server virtualization, VDI, service providers panels, cloud infrastructure automation as well as develop local partnerships to position Parallels as a cloud market leader.

Under limited direction the Account Director will:

  • Meet and exceed assigned goals, build territory revenue, prospect and close accounts by leveraging sales tools, partners and through individual initiative.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with all levels of customer organizations as appropriate, departmental through line of business and CxO.
  • Assimilate specific vertical market background, requirements, and infrastructure attributes, and apply this knowledge to sell Parallels solutions.
  • Drive account strategies and coordinate team-selling efforts to close software business on a quarterly and annual basis.
  • Manage multiple prospects, customers and opportunities, maintaining accurate forecasting and clear management communication.
  • Drive references based on customer satisfaction in all assigned accounts.
Desired Skills and Experience
  • Minimum 5 years experience selling enterprise software within the service providers vertical.

Sales Engineer – India and South Asia

Responsibilities:

The position will be responsible primarily for working with the sales team in a pre-sales role to provide technical support to the sales team, and present the Company’s software products to prospective customers. Sales territory: India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Nepal.

Together with sales managers drive the sales of Parallels products and services and develop relationships with Customers from a technical perspective.

Qualify opportunities from a technical perspective, develop technical sections of proposals and answers to RFP, work with professional services team when required in order to create technical requirements documentation for the implementation and integration of the Odin products in the customer environments.

Train the Parallels sales and marketing staff on Odin product and service offerings.

Manage multiple prospects, customers and opportunities from technical presale and relationship perspective. Drive references based on customer satisfaction in all assigned accounts.

Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in hosting industry – either on technical/solution sales roles or working for hosting providers on technology development and/or management roles.
  • Minimum 3 years of technical pre-sales experience in software or complex IT solutions, including practical knowledge of solution selling methodology.
  • Excellent knowledge of internet technologies and web hosting products/services. Good knowledge of Odin automation and virtualization solutions, actual hands-on experience is a must.
  • Experience of Linux and Windows Platforms and an understanding of Networking is essential.
  • Demonstrated ability to present in public and apply solution sales skills. Proven references on strong long-term relationship building skills.
  • Language Skills: English – Proficient on negotiation & presentation level. Additional language skills of the region are a plus.
